thrive in 2021

One thing will help
your business thrive in 2021.

December 1st 2020 in NoCode

In the business world, 2020 has been all about creating new processes to help your business adapt to the changing circumstances of the ever-evolving global situation and subsequent lockdown periods. For some businesses, this has meant a total upheaval of practices, and for others it’s meant simply updating their procedures, but if there’s one thing we can be sure of, a tech refresh could transform your business and help it thrive in Q1 of 2021.

We’re sure you’ve noticed that the businesses who have most easily adapted to the challenges of 2020 have been the ones with an existing digital or online presence. Businesses that are reliant on face-to-face interactions have undoubtedly found the shift to online business particularly challenging, especially for those trying to manage a now remote team.

In some instances, giving your business processes a make-over may seem like a costly expense that could have uncertain outcomes for customers, suppliers and staff. However, we’re confident that Cariboo Digital can help you refine your processes and help drastically improve your businesses functionality and efficiency.

Each sector has had to deal with their own unique set of challenges in 2020 but we believe there is a way to help your business thrive in the new year by using technology to improve usability, communication and company capabilities, whether that be internally for your team or company’s benefit, or for your customer.

How do we get started?

At Cariboo Digital, we think the best place to start is by identifying the obstacles your business is currently facing. What could be inhibiting your productivity, efficiency or sales? What has changed for your business in the past few months? Is there anything you think your business did better pre-pandemic?

TIdentifying your business obstacles is the first step to creating new processes that will help your business run more smoothly. Processes are essentially the lifeblood of successful businesses - all businesses essentially start as SME’s and their ability to scale and grow would be impossible without processes in place that make the lives of both their workforce and their customers easier.

Creating and perfecting business processes can vastly improve workflow and productivity in the workplace, it can also help you refine elements of your customer journey to improve your conversion rate.

What one thing will help your business thrive in 2021?

As the second national lockdown came into effect towards the end of 2020, we can all assume the impact will start to be felt throughout Q1 of 2021. However, with the right tools and technology, at Cariboo Digital we believe that you can overcome or even eradicate your existing business obstacles. What makes us so confident? Here’s two recent projects where we developed apps which will continue to help our clients solve problems or improve the functionality of their business throughout the coming months.

Improving staff communication

We recently created an app for a major water utility company which allowed their field engineers to more easily communicate with their in-house teams to request callouts, track progress and ensure targets are reached. This app not only helped improve communication between teams, by allowing less room for human error and delay it also allowed for a more productive workflow and target achievements.

Solving a problem with the Willow app

This project was all about solving a problem for those suffering with chronic illnesses. Recording and reporting symptoms or physical changes is a big part of life for someone with a chronic illness, but it can be challenging to record these symptoms adequately with both written descriptions and photo evidence. Willow allows these people the ability to effectively record any symptoms or physical changes, keep track of when they occur, and provide them with a platform to share this report with a Doctor or a medical professional to arrange any necessary changes to treatments.

This app development was a great example of how we listened to an issue and created an effective solution that would help the client overcome their obstacles.

Now, you may be thinking that app development is too costly a solution to implement for your business, and you could be right but not with the Cariboo Digital app creation process…

Traditional app development can take between 16-44 weeks and cost upwards of £60K but with our knowledge, tools and expertise, Cariboo Digital can create what you need for less upfront investment, in a much shorter time frame and to a high-quality standard. Using app development tool AppGyver and Backendless, Cariboo Digital have developed an iterative process of analysing, refining and implementing which means we can create something that actually works for you, your customers and your business.

We’re looking to build valuable, desirable, loveable, feasible, viable solutions to real problems. Protecting customer’s investment, reducing their risk and ensuring they approach software development with the right mind-set to achieve the right outcomes.
